define your unique version of “having it all”

& motherhood coaching

YOU’RE GRATEFUL TO BE A MUM, BUT AMIDST ‘HAVING IT ALL’ YOU’VE SOMEHOW LOST YOURSELF.

There is a saying that women can have it all -- to raise a family well and achieving in our career. To many of us, “having it all” is such a bleak and impossible goal. Your life is a far cry from the picture-perfect Instagram mums, and you’re wondering what you’re doing wrong. Are you…

  • Battling mum-guilt back at work, wondering how you can possibly be a good mother at the same time having a career

  • Feeling unfulfilled by your current work situation; trying to re-invent or shift your career but not sure where to start

  • Frequently switching jobs without a sense of directions

  • Unsure about your success or ability to perform

Through motherhood coaching, we could explore into your unique story and take this as an opportunity for self-discovery and growth in your career, so that you could say goodbye to the endless loop of exhaustion while showing up as the woman and mother you want to be.

Mother centered approach

Becoming a mother can be daunting to our identity. Whether it’s planning for a career change, starting a new business, or becoming a stay home mum, integrating motherhood into our new lives can be complicated.

Having my first career in the intense, high-pressure investment banking sector, I understand so profoundly of the challenges faced by professionals working in competitive work environment. With mother-centered coaching, I’ll help you navigate your unique story, uncover your values, how they fit with your career aspirations, and make it a reality.

As a mother, therapist, and Hong Kong’s first certified matrescence coach, I’m now on a mission to educate and support women through this challenging yet deeply scared matrescence journey.

Q&A

  • Some of the main benefits of coaching often shared by my clients include: increased confidence, stronger feeling of empowerment, improved work relationships, greater career and life fulfillment, focused productivity, motivation, and resilience. Additionally, research from the American Society of Training and Development has proven having an accountability partner drives performance up to 95%!

Neuroscience research has also shown that “coaching supports clients to develop positive new neural networks, respond more calmly to stress, make choices more easily, and access much more of their creativity. This inevitably leads to more effective, successful, and fulfilling lives.”

Everyone’s journey is unique, I always work with my clients in a collaborative process to ensure we design a plan that works for them.

  • Absolutely. I’m very passionate about supporting women in the workplace and dedicated research throughout my offerings to exploring the significance of identity with female leaders, particularly mothers, and its deep-rooted connection to how they navigate their careers, family roles, stress, and sense of self.

  • I provide online and in-person therapy sessions.

Online therapy gives you the convenience of being in the comfort and privacy of your own home, no matter where you are in the world.I provide in person therapy in various locations, including Jordan, Wanchai and Central. Each location provides slightly different facilities for different needs and treatment modalities. We can further discuss about determining a location that suits you.

  • Having the opportunities to live and receive education from different countries and cities allowed me to be attuned to both eastern and western cultures, and am particularly aware of the Asian female experience.

As a mother myself, I have experienced first-hand the silent struggle so many of us go through. It inspired me to qualify as a Matrescence coach, so that I can bring more awareness and support to this part of the world.

I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, and love blending the structure of CBT with more creative tools like mindfulness and visualisation. If this resonate with you, I’d love to schedule a free Discovery Call with you to see if we’re the right fit.

  • All sessions are by appointment only while whatsapp and emails are strictly used for booking sessions or checking in when given homework/tasks. I will only reply briefly to questions. If there is a need for further discussion, I would encourage you to book in a session.

Hong Kong is a small place and there could be times therapists and clients bump into each other in public. To protect your confidentiality, I will not approach you or greet you in public, unless you want to do so then I’ll gladly greet you.
